Biologicals

The Royal Brinkman product portfolio includes a full line of quality biological agents for all key insect pests. Rigorous QC inspection is conducted before shipping to ensure bios arrive in the optimal condition to protect crops. We take the time and care to ensure bios are packed appropriately during transport.

Orius and Power Food

Before the whiteflies and thrips appear, make sure your bio population is thriving!

Power Food 3.0 and Power Food Plus 3.0 are a proprietary diet for predatory mites. Supplementary feeding with Power Food ensures bios such as Swirskii, Andersoni, and Orius reproduce and establish quickly in the crop. Even without natural prey, they'll be ready to control thrips and whiteflies once they appear.

ENCAR & EREMIcontrol Mix - Ball Dispensers

Control Whiteflies, easily and effectively, with 'Eremi&Encar Control Mix' ball dispensers!

The two parasitic wasps that prey on whitefly larvae are Encarsia formosa and Eretmocerus eremicus. They can be introduced individually OR as a mixed product containing both. When used together, these bios are highly effective, targeting more whitefly species across a wider temperature range.

We offer these bios in various formats, including biodegradable Ball Dispensers. This cool, unique bio-delivery system can be hung on twine or simply placed on slabs. The balls ensure the pupae are well protected in transit and storage. Divots on the balls around each hole ensure bio release even if they are face down.

Trichogramma for Looper control

Loopers infest greenhouse vegetable crops every year. Trichogramma is a parasitic wasp that will lay eggs in and eat looper eggs destroying them. Because Trichogramma are egg parasitoids, timing of application is important. The earlier the start the better.

Our Trichogramma product, Tricholine™, has a 4-wave release technology meaning 4 waves of trichogramma adults will emerge from each dispenser over time so growers only need to introduce every 2 weeks for effective looper control.

Phytoline

Phytoline (Phytoseiulus persimilis)

This predatory mite is an active hunter and a standard spider mite treatment. Quick to establish, persimilis provides rapid control of spider mite outbreaks and is known for being high quality and more effective than other competitive persimilis.

Thrips and whitefly control with Amblyseius swirskii

The best strains of swirskii have been selected for production resulting in a superior predatory mite that will establishes more quickly in high stress conditions (high temps and RH) for consistent control of thrips & whitefly.

  • Handle stress caused by fluctuating temperatures and humidity in the crop.
  • Establish consistently strong swirskii populations for improved control of thrips.
  • Increased fecundity in high stress conditions.
  • More eggs are laid relative to competitor products at 30°C, 55% RH.
  • Better survival without food than comparable products.

Available in a range of formats including cards, sachets, loose and blister packs.

Our IPM Scouting Service

Scouting is an important component to an effective IPM program. Discovering problems early is crucial for the success of your crop. Scouting is a measured and systematic way of gathering information on crop health and signs of pests.
