Controlled release fertilizer
Plantacote Pluss 4M is a controlled release fertilizer with a tough and resilient polymer coating. Each granule contains major nutrients and trace elements to support crop nutrition over approximately 4 months. Nutrient release is controlled by soil temperature through a natural membrane process. Higher temperatures accelerate the release, while lower temperatures slow it down. Declared release times refer to an average soil temperature of 21 °C and are unaffected by substrate type, pH, micro-organisms, or irrigation levels.

How Plantacote Pluss 4M Works
Plantacote Pluss 4M begins releasing nutrients after 1–2 weeks. The membrane-controlled release pattern is influenced only by soil temperature, helping manage nutrient availability in line with crop needs over the cycle. This approach also reduces the risk of salt stress, even in premixed growing media stored for up to 1–2 weeks.
