Plantacote Pluss 2M is a controlled release fertilizer with a tough and resilient polymer coating. Each granule contains major and trace elements for consistent nutrient supply over a growing cycle of approximately 2 months. Nutrient release is governed by a natural membrane process controlled by soil temperature. Higher temperatures speed up release, while lower temperatures slow it down. Declared release times refer to an average soil temperature of 21 °C.

How Plantacote Pluss 2M Works
Plantacote Pluss 2M begins releasing nutrients after 1–2 weeks. The membrane-controlled release mechanism is influenced only by soil temperature and is unaffected by substrate type, pH, micro-organisms, or irrigation levels. This release pattern is designed to help manage nutrient availability while reducing the risk of salt stress, even in premixed growing media stored for up to 1–2 weeks.
