In the fast-growing high-wire cultivation of cucumber, the effective use of biological control agents against diseases and pests is quite a challenge. As biological material in the bags is lost, because it quickly returns to the ground due to frequent leaf picking. The UniMite Slider is a bioslider system that is mounted on the pipe rail trolley and has been specially developed for use in high-wire cucumber cultivation. The bioslider is used to spread biological material against whitefly, thrips and red spider mite.
The UniMite Bio-Slider system includes:
