Main uses

How it works
The product formulation ensures a steady daily release of predatory Amblyseius cucumeris mites into the crop. These mites feed on first-instar thrips larvae (L1), which are the most vulnerable stage. They do not feed on larger larvae or adult thrips.Development time of A. cucumeris is 6–9 days at 24°C (75°F), which fits well with the lifecycle of Western Flower Thrips. Optimal performance occurs at temperatures between 66–80°F (19–27°C) and humidity levels between 65–75%.In the absence of thrips, the mites can survive by feeding on pollen, making them suitable for preventive use and long-term control. Their resistance to diapause allows year-round application in various crop environments.
