Amblyline is a biological control agent based on the predatory mite Amblyseius cucumeris. This beneficial mite is a natural enemy of Western Flower Thrips, Chili Thrips, and several other thrips species.

How it works
Amblyline is formulated to release a steady number of Amblyseius cucumeris mites onto the crop each day. These predatory mites feed on the first larval stage of thrips (L1), but are not able to attack larger larvae or adults.
The complete development of Amblyseius cucumeris takes 6–9 days at 24°C (75°F), which closely matches the life cycle of Western Flower Thrips. Optimal performance is achieved at temperatures between 19–27°C (66–80°F) and relative humidity levels of 65–75%.
