Preventive control with Amblyseius cucumeris
Amblyline is a biological control agent containing the predatory mite Amblyseius cucumeris. It is used preventively to target thrips and mite pests in a wide range of crops.

How it works
The formulation is carefully designed to gradually release high numbers of predatory Amblyseius cucumeris mites onto the crop each day. These mites feed on the first larval stage (L1) of thrips, but are unable to attack larger larvae or adult thrips. Development time at 24°C (75°F) is 6–9 days, which aligns well with the lifecycle of Western Flower Thrips. The optimum conditions for establishment are temperatures between 66–80°F (19–27°C) and relative humidity between 65% and 75%.
