Apogee not only reduces vegetative growth but also suppresses fireblight (Erwinia Amylovora) infection, resulting in a lower incidence and severity of the disease on shoots and leaves. Although Apogee does not have direct antibiotic activity against the fireblight bacteria, it can decrease host susceptibility.
