Soil disinfectant with dazomet
Basamid Granules is a soil disinfectant in granule form containing the active ingredient Dazomet. It helps manage harmful soil organisms and weeds through a targeted mode of action.

Mode of action
Dazomet produces the active compound methyl isothiocyanate (MITC) by hydrolysis on contact with moist soil. This compound moves through the soil in its gaseous phase, acting against harmful soil organisms and germinating weeds. Soil organisms decompose MITC into harmless molecules (nutrients).
