Mode of action and weed spectrum
It inhibits the ALS enzyme, halting amino acid production and plant growth. After application, targeted weeds stop growing and show symptoms like leaf discoloration and necrosis. Katana™ is effective against many annual and perennial weeds and grasses, including clovers, chickweed, dandelion, foxtail, sowthistles, and crabgrass.
Low toxicity
Katana™ is a non-irritant to the skin or eyes and is a non-skin sensitizer. There are no exposure limitations to mixing field staff, co-workers or bystanders.
