Encarline mix consists of pupae of the parasiticwasps Encarsia formosa and Eretmoceruseremicus (50/50). The parasitic wasps will control the whitefly species: Bemisia tabaci,Trialeurodes vaporariorum, and Aleyrodesproletella.
This mix of these parasitic wasps controlsyounger whitefly larvae by feeding on themAND older whitefly larvae by parasitism (wasplarvae infests whitefly larvae). Eretmocerus eremicus is adapted for use in high temperatures and is able to withstand temperatures of 40C. The use of both wasps together provides improved control over abroad temperature range.
