Amblyseius swirskii is a predatory mite from family Phytoseiidae. This is a polyphagous biological that feeds primarily on the larvae of thrips (Frankliniella occidentalis,Thrips parvispinus) and eggs and larvae of white fly. A.swirskii performs well in warm, humid conditions. Theoptimal development temperature is between 25°C and28°C, and this predatory mite re-mains active up totemperatures of 40°C.
