Neoseiulus cucumeris (formerly Amblyseiuscucumeris) is a predatory mite belonging to the phytoseidae family, which mainly feeds oneggs and thrips larvae, but can also reducepopulations of broadmites and cyclamenmites.
It has excellent mobility on theunderside of leaves and on the flower, because it can survive in the absence of prey if it is found in plants with pollen, such as peppers.
