Protection and growth booster for soil-grown crops
Trianum-G contains Trichoderma harzianum strain T-22 and offers biological protection against soil-borne diseases such as Pythium, Rhizoctonia, Fusarium and Sclerotinia. It also promotes stronger and more uniform plant growth.
Benefits of Trianum-G
- ✅Broad-spectrum disease control: Effective against multiple soil-borne pathogens.
- ✅Stimulates root development: Promotes more root hairs for improved nutrient and water uptake.
- ✅Activates plant immunity: Triggers Induced Systemic Resistance (ISR) in above-ground plant parts.
- ✅Effective under stress: Performs well under suboptimal growing conditions.
Mode of action
Trianum-G protects the plant through four mechanisms: competition for space and nutrients, parasitism of pathogens, and overall plant strengthening. Together, these mechanisms reduce disease pressure and improve crop vitality.
Competition for space
Trianum-G rapidly colonizes the root surface, leaving little opportunity for pathogenic fungi to establish themselves.
Competition for nutrients
By absorbing essential nutrients in the root zone, Trianum-G deprives pathogens of the resources they need to develop.
Parasitism of pathogens
The fungus grows around the mycelium of soil-borne pathogens, breaks down their cell walls, and causes them to die off.
Plant strengthening
Trianum-G improves the root system through the formation of more root hairs, so that water and nutrients can be taken up better. This leads to a stronger and more uniform crop and better yields. This effect is stronger when the plant is under stress and/or cultivated under less than optimum growing conditions. Trianum-G also reinforces the defence mechanism of the parts of the plant above ground, the so-called induced systemic resistance (ISR). Trianum-G has the capacity to make certain 'fixed' nutrients such as manganese and iron available for the plant to take up.
